This is one of my favorite restaurants in our area! Amazing Italian cuisine! Excellent selection of wine. Everything was fantastic.

I believe they have live music on Fridays & Saturdays, so I’d recommend a reservation.

Visted late last night and sat at the bar. Hands down one of the best Lobster Ravioli dishes I've ever eaten! The Wedge Salad was robust with flavor and crispness.

I must say these were some of the best fried calamari I've ever eaten! Service was impeccable, even at the bar. Everyone was attentive and accommodating. We loved the atmosphere and ambiance. Great muaic choices, not too loud. We were the last ones when they were close to closing, and they never made us feel rushed. Hidden gem in my hood I'll certainly be back, sooner rather than later! Amazing dishes!

I must say the Lasagna here is simply the best Lasagna I've ever had. The pasta is fresh and the sauce is creamy and very delicious.
They also have great Martinis and a good wine selection. The Bananas Foster with Grand Marnier is my favorite dessert!


Wow what a find! Was on this side of town, which is rare, but may be looking for a house nearby.
This restaurant looked enticing even from the parking lot. The offset entrance drew us into an Italian garden, with greenery and small tables, and the interior decor was even better; lush and intimate. Professional attentive staff, excellent bar and service, and this was all eclipsed by the food. Fresh, seasonal, light, and so delicious--not soaked in butter and breadcrumbs, or sweetened tomato sauce.
Can't wait to go back.

It’s such a Houston tale: Peruvian software exec turned self-taught chef opens an Italian restaurant that turns out to be the best upscale dining option in Houston’s vast and underserved northwest territories. Gerry Sarmiento’s warm, vibrantly hued spot among the tall pines of Cypress offers everything from a major-league pork shoulder braised in red wine, and served over plush polenta, to a wonderfully homey lasagna with “pink sauce” for the times when something familiar and comforting is called for. Sautéing and saucing are strong points, and the pastas shine, too. This is the vanishingly rare place where I’m tempted to order an old-fashioned filet mignon dish, flambéed with brandy and napped with buttery, brandied cream. Adriana Sarmiento’s warmth and ease adds greatly to the familial feel that is key here.
